Organic Chemistry Synthesis:
Solid-Phase Anticancer Compound

at Hobart and William Smith Colleges dept. of Chemistry

Sept - December 2017

A semester was spent learning organic synthesis techniques to synthesize the molecule to the right, an analog to a known anti-cancer compound. Spectral techniques were used to confirm the success of the technique.

This upcoming semester, I will do research to continue this work, making further analogs and developing more advancements in solid-phase synthesis.

You can find the introduction I wrote below, as well as as the paper the synthesis was based off of.
